You are going to be spammed with answers claiming that they are the best free survey sites. If you are looking on making a substantial amount you won't find it on the survey sites. They really do not pay what many of them claim, you are lucky if you make $3-5 a month.
Your best bet is to read up on them and make a decision for yourself. Most people here are going to have a link so you sign up through them and they make money as a referral. |

I am a member of some survey sites like nfo mysurvey, lighspeed and greenfields. They are all legit and have all paid me ,either by check or Paypal. You can find a list of legit survey companies at: http://tinyurl.com/555r8y They are all free join, no fees whatsoever.

Some of them are real companies that service the research industry. Some are scams that try to get people to fill out a list of questions so they can sell to email list brokers.
Others want you to pay them to have to join their service so they will supposedly give you surveys where you earn money... which is ridiculous. Some say they will pay $50 you to join, which again, I'd be suspicious. I've heard some ask for your social security number, now that's really suspicious.
I'd suggest you look at this article on what online surveys are and what they're used for. There is also a list of legitimate survey companies you could join.

Most "survey" sites are scams, not legitimate marketing research surveys. The legit ones may pay you in points redeemable for gift cards or merchandise; few pay cash. You can make about $20 a year doing legit surveys. You might be invited to participate in a focus group or more lucrative long-term study every few years for $75 or so.
Or you can lose your shirt to the scams.
But there is NO way you are going to make any money. Get a job. |
