Depending on what type of neighborhood you live in, here are a list of suggestions:
Dog walking business
Lawn care help (raking, mowing, etc.)
Paper boy
Washing cars
Baby sitting (this will depend on maturity level, 11 may be too young, but some can pull it off. Maybe get an older partner if you aren't sure)
Assisting elderly neighbors 9Or neighbors with busy scedules) with household chores (such as taking out the trash or doing laundry) that may be difficult or too time consuming.
I think it is a great idea that you want to earn the money yourself. That shows a good deal of maturity for an 11 year old. |

Getting money for phone is easy. Check with your parents on who is going to pay for the phone bill. Because that is where the money is going to cost you. |

Hand out flyers for retail stores or the obvious...babysitting.
You could try running errands for the elderly. |

I had a newspaper route when I was 11. Monday - Saturday for about $40 a month. Of course, that was in 1989, kids might make more money now.
Some of the other suggestions are good too, but you might find it hard to sustain a business that relies heavily on sales. |

Firsly and Iphone is a MAJOR purchas for an 11 year old, and from what Ive heard, Iphones are pieces of junk, with bugs and glitches. DONT BUY ONE!
But for the money making part, classics are always the way to go. Mow lawns, rake leaves, shovel driveways, when you turn 12....try getting a babysitting license.
Or maybe your parents know somebody who needs help around the house, or cleaning. Its always a quick way to make cash!
If you have a lot of extra junk laying around, have a garage sale! Orrr. Even try selling it on Ebay.

Offer to do some odd jobs around the house or even around the neighborhood.....cutting the grass, pulling weeds, shoveling snow, hauling out the trash, things like that. If you become known as doing a good job on these tasks around the neighborhood, people will hire you, and tell their friends to do likewise. Good Luck |

clean pet houses (if you don't have any pets, what about your neighbors?), do dishes, wash cars, help an elderly person with grocery shopping or housework, sweep/mop floors, weed in the garden, help fold laundry, make dinner for your parents, sell old toys or clothes at a yard sale.

Omg i wanted to buy the iphone too and i didnt have any money so i did this:
mow lawns
wash cars
babysit
get a summer job
paint fences
paint houses
sell old stuff (garage sale) like old pokemon cards that u dont use..they are worth tons on e-bay ..
etc.. be CREATIVE & good luck .. i got my IPHONE :) .. hope u get yours too ! =) . |

Well, doing one thing wont get you enough money.
And, it'll take you a while.
These do sound really generic but, here are some ideas:
-Sell your old stuff
-Walk dogs
-Babysit
-Take care of houses and pets for family/neighbors if they go on vacation
And simple things like that.
Eventually you will have enough money to get the phone of your dreams!! lol |
