What are some good tips of becoming a millionaire?

nsxplus1
after talking with alot of people and reading books ect. i have been able to see some paterns.
1 pay your self first . 10% is a good start
2 live on 50% of what you make . the other 50% is for morgage or inventment
3 USE CASH. no cash no buy
4 credit card pay them of ASAP
5 most millionares still live in there first house
6 cars are not investments, so get a reliable car and pay it off asap if ur car is 10 yrs old and work well keep it
7 stable marrage it takes 2 to tango. divorce , or a spouse that cant save you will not make it
8 most have there owen small business ( for tax reasons)

if you follow the outline you will be a millionaire. the first years are the hardest but when you pay your house the real savings stard to poor in and your life style will change and be able to spend more on your self

Seriously, you should read the short book called "The Millionaire Next Door." It is very insightful and a quick read.

Save as much money as you can and put it to work for you. Look for good ways to invest your money so that you can earn the most for your money without being too risky. Research and learn about the things your thinking about putting your money in.

Live well below your means. Have very little debt other than a mortgage, and buy your home with an eye toward resale value in the distant future. Invest wisely, thinking about long-term growth. Save something from every paycheck, rebate, tax refund, etc. Set aside money for expenses you can anticipate, from taxes to retirement, including repairs and replacements to the things you need (cars, appliances, plumbing). Have a budget and stay within it.

Every millionaire I know--a small handful--who made their own million rather than inheriting it followed all or most of this advice. The richest shops at Target and Penney's, not Lord & Taylor and certainly not at boutiques. They have a perfectly nice house, not a lavish one. They also paid for their kids to go to private colleges ($40,000 a year) in full, no debt, own their house and cars free and clear, are set for retirement in a few years, and seem essentially happy living a middle-class lifestyle.

you need to work on doing well with your money and it will work out. make sure you are getting the most for your money saving or spending. i have a credit card that gives me 5% at gas stations and it is a credit on my statement each month. I take that credit and put it in a ingdirect account, so I create saving without saving any money but spending.

when you shop there are many ways to get rebates and coupon, for instance I bought something online and I saw it was $9 shipping instead of biting the bullet I called and got free shipping, so i saved right there.

invest even 25 a month in a stock will add up and when you make more money make sure and use that for more savings or investment.

it is making your money work for you and it will just be a matter of time

Kiplinger had a recent article that said you if you invested so much per month in a responsible manner, then you can be a millionaire before you retire.

Subscribe to their magazine first.

Then check with your local bank or credit union and use one of their recommended investment advisors.

If you make investing a priority each month, it will compound with interest like crazy over the years. Just be sensible about it!

The earlier you begin, the better off you will be.

Well most people who have become millionaires have had to work for it, and they got there by being the top person in their business.
Now anybody can become a millionaire, all you have to do is find the right vehicle to take you there.
I have some friends and I meet regularly people who have reached that income goal, and they all have done it by starting their own businesses, most of them from home.
If you would like to get some more insights into how they did it send me an email.
