you have to play at local gigs in clubs, events, weddings or parties etc. then you get onto the big circuit. record some demo CDs or videos of your band playing at different gigs and shop yourself to some of the bigger nightclubs etc. If things go well there then you start doing some TV or band concerts together with some of the bigger established bands. then, maybe you will be noticed by some talent scout and who knows |

By not quitting their day job. There is little chance to make real money in most performing arts. You have to sign up with Disney's army when you're 3 years old and they have to groom you for the part, and/or you have to look good on camera and be able to lip synch or play air guitar. |
