Oh dear!
Make sure you claim housing benefit and council tax benefit from your local council.
Unfortunately, that is probably all you can get until the baby is born, then you will be entitled to more.
There is something called severe hardship payments, and there is also something called the social fund, but I dont know the criteria for getting these, I would strongly suggest you go to the CAB, who are great at getting you all the help available.
All the best
Good Luck.

Iam so sorry to hear that your hubby left you at a time when you need him the most. I hope you have a very healthy baby. That baby will bring you more joy than any man will, because it's a part of you.

not sure what is offered in your country but:

Do you have something like a food bank over there? they will supply baby formula and some groceries, not a lot but every little bit helps. ours also gives free clothing.

not sure what is offered where u are, but there should be some assistance available for new mothers.

also, alot of churches will offer help or tell u where u can go to get some aid.

also, if you have a salvation army, or red cross, speak to them, or the united way, they may have a program or can tell u where to go.

Council tax and housing benefit, these are available from the council offices or local job centre. Please contact your local C.A.B. for more benefit advice. Good luck.

inform the council as soon as so your can claim housing benefit and go and sign on for income support (which then means that you should in theory get all or most of your rent paid). switch bills to payment card or key meter ex-pain why and write up a budget.you should get £52 a week income support usually paid every Monday.once you have registered your child's birth you Will get child benefit and be able to ask for maintenance or go though the csa (can take a while).hope this helps sorry to hear your hubby has done this now.go to your local sure start centre for more advice.

Make sure you have claimed housing and council tax benefits so you get them paid through benefit system. Also depending on how far on you are you also get milk tokens before the baby is born. It is very difficult finding work when you are pregnant, employers know you won't be staying. you could try agency if you want to work Do you have a water meter fitted. This can save you a fortune. |I had one and it cut my bills by at least a quarter. It should be free to fit it as long as they can fit it easily. Look it up on internet or ring water board
