There are loads of museums and exhibitions in London which are completely free (like the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum).

But you will need to beg for money for the Underground ticket!

Kathryn
Do volunteer work. It will accomplish four things:

1) It will give you something to do;
2) It won't cost anything;
3) You'll be helping people less fortunate than you, which will make you feel good; and
4) It will show you that things could be worse, which will make you feel better about having less money than you'd like.

Jemima
Most of the museums in London are free! Or you could go for walks...
Or just keep yourself busy in the day doing things like reading to pass the time and take your mind away from finances. Works for me

Bored at work

Go to the park and play on the swings
Go to the library and read a book
Do some housework!

Do some voluntary or charity work

Sex & Breathing have yet to be taxed by this Government ! Walking is still free at the moment ! We still have the freedom of Speech ! With no money there is a saying that you can do sweet f**k all ! I find that being a Full-Time Freelance Jobseeker as I currently am that the LESS money that I have then the LESS money that I have to worry about ! With no money I do not have a Financial Problem ! I only start to incur Financial Problems when I have 1 pence or more in my pocket or in my wallet !

Tons of free activities around, including public libraries where you can - at least- enrich your mind....

Doug
You can play video games (if you have the means to), read (don't forget libraries are free), write, listen to music, go for a walk, visit a museum, draw/paint, there are plenty of puzzle websites (mahjong, crosswords, sudoku etc.). You could even revisit childhood days and run around your house with a cardboard helmet on and a stick in your hand pretending you're a valiant warrior saving the world from evil creatures. You just need to use your imagination.

You need money to make money,

That's my philosophy anyway.

Depends on where you live,,, seeing this in Yahoo UK that I'm assuming u live in LDN

If you live in Central London that would be rather easy as you go to meuseums and Art Gallerys that are free and sometimes you can even go to talks/lectures for free....
