Where do you live? Married? How many kids? If you're in a city, I'd seriously consider getting a bus ticket to Omaha or Ohio and relocating. There are some areas that are much more difficult to get ahead in. Low wages with high cost of living is tough.

Find a place where you can live for very little. Try to get a job managing some storage units or a small apartment building where you can get discounted or free rent. Perhaps even a salary.

Depending on your family situation, try to get 4 roommates for a 2 bedroom place. At $500 per month, you're only paying $125 each.

NEVER use a credit card or a check cashing business.

If you drive a car worth more than 8K, sell it and buy a cheap one with 100K miles on it (like a geo prism or something). Check consumer report and find something you can drive to the ground.

Pay off your debts aggressively if you have any.

Look for a new job every 4 months. You don't have to change jobs, but at least look. That puts you in a good bargaining position if you don't NEED the job. If you get one that pays more, take it.

Cancel your cable, sell your pet, get a library card, get a prepaid cell phone if you need it, but only use it when needed (like job hunting).

Stop eating out. Buy a 100 lb bag of rice and potatoes in 20lb bags. You'll find that there are a lot of cheap meals you can make with little more than that.

Every paycheck, take a small amount (maybe 5-10%, more if you can) and tuck it away. This is your investment money.

As your able look into real estate investing. More self made millionaires did it with real estate than any other vehicle.

Lastly....believe in yourself. Believe that you'll find a way. Keep trying.

What you need to do is build the assets you have. What you have now is all you can count on. Be smart with your money. Make a long term plan to build wealth.

first of all you need to reduce any debt you have. Call credit card companies (if you have them) and negotiate a reduction in interest rates, don't make payments late to avoid late fees and stop using them altogether.

2nd, look to get an entry level position at a company. Sit down and write out any skills that you think you can contribute. Although the pay not be good at first, the idea is to get your foot in the door. Show a lot of initiative and work hard. You will work your way up the ladder.

3rd if you already have a job and just want extra money, try working a second job as a food server. stay away from pyramid schemes. you'll put more money into it, than you will get out.

4th again sit down and define your skills. My mom didn't work a lot until she was older. now she owns her own residential cleaning business. The money is pretty good, but very hard work.

5th. try a little prayer. never know when a tiny miracle will happen

Do you have any friends or relatives who are doing well financially? If you do, I would invite them over for dinner and ask them what they are doing that enables them to win financially.

Ask them if they will help walk you through the steps to achieve your own personal financial freedom!

And always remember this, just because you do not have a lot of money does NOT mean that you are not RICH in your personal relationships as a parent, as a friend.

Best of luck!

Keep trying. Don't give up. Dress appropriately and present yourself well at the interviews, smile and look them straight in the eye when you shake their hand, get the job and work hard at it. Be on time.

Time off is nice, but look at getting a part time job.

Hi,

Trying to get out of poverty alone is extremely difficult as you'll probably find yourself falling back into old behaviour patterns, which take you back to where you started.

Money-making ideas are okay but it's the mindset you develop that will determine whether you'll ever be out of poverty. In other words, it's not about what you want, it's about who you want to become.

As Albert Einstein famously stated "we cannot fix our problems with the same thinking that created them".

Therefore we must change our thinking.

And that begins with how we think about money...

Money is what you get when you add value to someone else. If you consistently add high value to a large number of people, you will make a great deal of money.

If you try to do it by other means you won't.

Yes there are always examples of con artists etc but their day always comes! They run out of people to con and word spreads quickly.

The Golden Rule of "do unto others" always works best in business.

The first rule of making money is adding value.

Find a large and expanding marketplace that has a need, a want or a desire (problem).

Confirm that this group not only has a problem but a desire to fix it.

Satisfy that desire by supplying the product or service that fixes their problem.

It's not rocket science, but sadly every person trying to get rich quick tends to overlook this basic law of long term wealth creation and true success.

Once again, the word legitimate is key.

All true success is built on honesty. Anything not built on truth must eventually fail.

In the words of Norman Vincent Peale, "no wrong thing ever turned out right".

I sincerely trust this is helpful.

Warmly,

Slav

PS: A final word... always give your customers more in value than you ever ask in price and you will be rich and successful beyond your wildest imagination.

There numbers of things you can do but without knowing any details about your current situation it would be impossible to offer any meaningful suggestions.

What I can suggest is take pause (a day off perhaps). List every single things in your life you are unhappy about and try to find the cause of these problems. Once you found the cause, you can work up a plan to fix it. Sometime things are not what they seem to be, so look deeper.
