Before you go to payday loan route, I suggest you'd call your insurance company and see if you can make an arrangement. The fact you are going to the payday loan says that you need this for a very short term and you do plan to pay it back soon after the withdrawal. If that is the case, your insurance company can, sometimes, give you a few days or few weeks to pay your premium. If you have been a good customer, they will go extra miles to keep you as a customer.
If you are going to be needing this loan for a long term, or do not foresee a way to pay it back, realize, they will charge a kind of interest that you might take you VERY long time to pay it back. (if ever if your delay is long enough)
You might consider asking your family member if you can before going this route. It just puts you further away from being financially secure. If you do go to the family route, please be sure to put this on paper so your family situation does not strain for this money. |

There is a possibility that you could find a cut rate national insurance company. Or how about paying only for one month instead of your usual 3 or 6 months. Lower your deductible if possible. But, you should contact your insurer before the clock runs. Could you carpool for a few weeks until you are in better shape money wise? Negotiate with your car insurer or go with another insurer. You may be able to find a reputable agent who has a policy that you can afford. I hate to see anyone have to borrow for insurance. Look around and stay in touch with your insurer. Many states have a "grace period" to find other insurance. Your agent is supposed to help you. Good luck. |

There are 1000 car insurance companies out there. FIND A NEW ONE. If you cant pay your premium, how in the heck do you pay back your payday loan?? your payday loan is going to cost you more than your premium. You need help beyond this question. go to the library and read a book. DAVE RAMSEY'S TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER. it will change your life.
More debt is never an answer for any questions you could ever ask on here. |

Try every avenue you have to you before you use a payday loan service. They charge seriously high rates, it's only worth it if it's a last ditch effort.
Try selling some of your old clothes to a clothing exchange type place, or just sell a few things you don't need in general. Also, if you are a college student check to see if your university offers micro-loans (a few do). If it's just a matter of a few days before you have the money, call your insurance provider and make the arrangement to pay late with them. People ca be remarkably helpful when you ask. |

Nooooo. those loans are really hard to pay back. Can you make the payment within 7 days of the due date? If not, when? There are sometimes grace periods where they will reinstate you if you can get it paid. But to warn you, if you do this too many times, some insurance companies will cancel due to having abused that too often.
Can you get an extra job? Do some temp work? I do stuff to make extra money sometimes and it helps. Call a temp firm and see if they need staffing at a special event or making calls, etc. |

Having taken this route before, I can unequivocally advise you to get the loan ONLY IF YOU KNOW you will have the full payment (Including the BIG INTEREST BITE) by the end of the loan term. If not, let your insurance lapse. It will take you forever to get out of the PAYDAY loan Loop, if you don't anticipate it being a one time deal. Good Luck. |
