I think that being rich gives you freedom. Including the freedom to not spend anything and the freedom to buy as much cheap stuff as you like. Rich people tend to become excentric. |

I've seen some of these people on TV and that's how they keep getting richer. I don't care what people spend (or don't spend) their money on. If they are really rich and not spending anything, then are they donating to good causes or are they just sitting on the money for no reason waiting to die. I've seen both types in interviews. What good is money just to say you're rich! Live frugally, but do some good with the money then. |

I think they are very smart indeed. As they take care of the pennies, they stack the pounds.
I admire such persons. They are likely to remain rich for very long. It is also a sign that they worked hard for all the cash they now have. It is indeed the smartest way to keep the millions! |

Well, if their money is hard earned, you can appreciate that they might not want to let go of it. Perhaps it's a little paranoid, but you can never tell what's going to happen, so sometimes it's good to keep most of it in the bank.
If that isn't the case, then i suppose it's their money, and they can do what they like with it. |

I think theyve worked for what they have today (well most of them ) and its for us look and say well if they can do it why cant I -regardless of how polite or snobbish they are!
A FACT:
The rich didnt get rich sympathising with others- although they may have helped others a little they had to concentrate on themselves! Its not possible to get rich concentating on others poverty at the same time - otherwise time & money is LOST!!!
I think those who spend more time and unecessary energy being jealous and envying and ridduculing the rich could use that same amount of time to get rich themselves. I bet once those who were riddiculing the rich get rich themselves wont riddicule no more. Thats how you know theyre jealous unecessarily!

I don't see the problem of these folks, they probably came from poor environment before getting filthy rich. Hard work is required to earn these loads of money. |

well alot of people are intimidated by the rich but do people ever stop and think how did they get there fair enough if they worked for it but buying the cheapest of everything theres nothing wrong with that |

Not spending is the best way to stay rich. Most don't buy the cheapest of everything but select carefully what they value. I go cheap on somethings like hair cuts because they just grow back anyhow but spend for quality appliances because they make work go better and last longer.
I am not rich yet but don't see wasting money when I am. |

if they are doing it becuase they dont like extravagance then its good and they spend on charity, but if they are doing it because they are mean and they dont give in charity, then they are miserable people who worship money, and they are not happy |
