I'd want to get that out of my life before it starts generating other fees. Go pay them the $3.85 and close the account. That could pop up somewhere in the future and cost you a bundle. Best not to let things like this stew. |

I've heard that you can get black listed for something like that and will have difficulty obtaining credit in future, which is pretty serious so you'd better pay up buddy. |

Bank of America has a fee for everything.
Are you sure that $3.85 is still only $3.85?
They have a way of making a bundle - just making sure.
Google their site and see if they have DORMANT account fee.
Otherwise, they won't touch you.
