You can ask your neighbors if there any work they may have for you ....
1. neighbors who need help putting out holiday decorations
2. walking dogs or pet sit
3. cleaning house, garages or attics
4. baby-sitting
5. raking leafs
6. shoveling driveways when it snows
7. delivering groceries
Make up flyers listing what services you offer and hand them out. |

You could farm yourself out around the neighborhood in doing chores for elderly people - yard work, clearing basements or doing errands. You can also do some babysitting depending on where you live and who's around.
You can also gather aluminum cans and other recyclable items around your neighborhood and exchange them for cash. |

Selling stuff on www.craigslist.com
You can buy good stuff cheap at garage sales or by finding unwanted stuff in your own home and reselling it on Craigslist.
Go check out the site in your area and see what it all about. Ask your parents for help with stuff. We made about $4K selling stuff we didn't need anymore when we moved. Basically, if you buy something cheap at a garage sale that is a wanted item you should be able to your money back plus 50-100+% more on your money. |

I just read a story about a 17-year-old millionaire who made money by creating and selling artistic backgrounds for myspace pages. This girl will not have to worry about college or anything for the rest of her life. Awesome story. If you got some type of talent, use it. |

14 may be a little old for this, but I was buying candy and selling it at 10x the price in school when I was 12. I was making as much per week as my father. However I got caught and was suspended for 2 weeks.
or try: cutting lawns, washing windows or find a job that will pay you under the table, my first real job was painting apartments at age 14 |

In this day and age of computers, making money online is one of the simpliest ways of earning money..Another idea other than computers is to find something you are interested in and hang around that place to see if you could do odds and ends..this way you will watch and learn what goes on..you can't place a price on experience! |
