Explain your situation to the creditors. They may be able to refinance your loan so that your payment is lower or the dealership may be able to buy your car back from the creditor for what you owe.

Take your car and trade it in on a much less expensive one. Yes, you will have residual from your first car, but it may prove to be less expensive over all.
I once leased a $28,000 truck. The payment was too much for me, AND I didn't really need such a vehicle. So I traded it in for a $12,000 used car. The penalties and residuals from the truck lease got "rolled" into the car payment. My total vehicle debt got reduced from $28k to only $16k. That was a $12,000 savings. Not perfect, but it sure helped!
