I have a problem with my bill EVERY month and i feel like I am always calling, being hung up on, can't hear them and pretty much get no where.
Now I am a college student living with two other college students and we can't afford a 230$ comcast bill.

Call them and tell them you are sick of it and want to speak to the manager and when you get the manager ask for their manager. Tell them you are sick of being hung up on and you don't want to be put on hold. And if they still do it report them to the BBB. I had to do it with sprint, but my problem was resolved within 30 days. Good luck! |

It took my THREE years to settle a dispute with Comcast. I made MANY calls, waited on hold, called this person, that person, this department, yada, yada...
You know what finally settled the dispute? When I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They have a web-site and I posted my problem with them. Within 5 days the dispute was settled and a Comcast representative called me to apologize.
So save yourself some aggravation and contact the BBB.

Grr I hate them there such a pain in the a**! Take a day your free and get a copy of all your bills with issues and highlight the problems. Go to there office right when it opens, Ask to speak to a manager wait if there not available check every 20mins your waiting to see if there available now, be a pain, and firm but be polite. let them know your serious and your willing to wait all day. Be very firm with the manager and tell him that this kind of service is unacceptable, tell them you are going to put in a complaint with the attorney general and the better business beau if any issue arises again. It may be a pain in the *** and take all day but you wont have to deal with issues every month. ( I even ordered a pizza while waiting!) but I got free cable for three months, for the aggravation. |

never give them your ss #, btw. they only say they need it.
only give it to a bank or mortage company. the go'vt already knows it.
dispute it and do not pay what you disute, go elsewhere.

Best way: Cancel your account. They'll come around real quick. Even if they don't you wouldn't want to stay with a company like that would you?
Another way: Write a letter to CORPORATE. Not to customer service, customer service will ignore you, but write a letter that's cordial, explain the situation and do not ***** about the company. From experience on both sides I know for a fact that Executive/VP types do read mail. But it's not worth doing this over small dollar amounts. |

Most people that work at those call centers for comcast, embarq, alltel, verizon, whoever--they are evil. They dont care about you or your problems. They are sitting there listening to your problems and laughing like crazy when you hang up. I have no suggestions, I have had so many problems myself. I suggest just pay the bill. Ask to speak to a supervisor. You might get somewhere with them. Tell them you want to cancel service and go with another carrier if this is not resolved here and now.
