Assuming both you and your relitives have Bank accounts, get the Bank to transfer the money. I have been doing this for years and it gives you the best rates without hidden charges. It is fast (2/3 days) and if you pay a little extra, you can get it transfered that same day by close of business.Failing that, try an International Money Order. You can get these in a number of places, including banks, and mail it. Works for me. |

I used to work for Western Union, and I think this is the easiest way! Although - it's not the cheapest!!!
If I was sending money to my family from a different country, I would send it by chaps payment - via my bank account.Its fast, reliable and very convenient.
And more importantly, any bank can do this to any other bank!

if yu go the bank and bring the 500 dollars with yu, you can ask for it in french money then go to the post office and ask to mail it in cheque form sounds weird but i do it allllll the time |
