To seriously answer your question as you have asked it, the answer is by winning tonight's lottery. It just isn't very likely to happen, and will very likely just lose your money.
If you are more concerned about how can can reasonably expect to make a million, then that is a totally different question.
Number one thing to do - get a job that you love.
Number two - don't spend all of your money. (Most people neglect this step)
Number three - avoid debt at all costs unless the debt will return more money than you will pay in interest.
Number four - invest carefully and conservatively the money that you have saved up.
Number five - keep track of where you are financially - you should know your net worth at any given tim.
Number six - repeat one through five for a number of years until you hit your million. If you make $50,000 per year, it could easily take more than 20 years to get there.
It is a slow process - no shortcuts. |

realistically... real estate... but it takes a while and a lot of research. For example lets say you buy property in a really bad neighborhood, why would you do that? because the hospital next door is always expanding, or because of the proposed crime legislation. In Baltimore you can get a crack house by John Hopkins for like 4k and sell it for a quarter mil if you buy the right one |
