I could afford a really nice car but I won't get one because I can't justify the expense including maintenance and insurance.

I could afford an designer handbag but I find a lot of them kind of ugly.

A gas-guzzling SUV. I would love to drive one and could probably afford the payments--maybe even the gas. But I simply am not about to contribute any further to our nation's dependence on fossil fuels any more than necessary.

I agree with the Starbucks answer...a starbucks just opened up in my town and I still go to the "mom and pop" coffee shop b/c it is cheaper!

A Mediterranean cruise. Proximity is way too close to Mideast terrorism to jeopardize my family!

Cable TV, why pay for cable when I watch thirteen hours of TV a week.

Chris M
I could afford to buy a Honda Civic by paying for it in cash. I want to save on gas and to have a more pleasant drive everyday, but I am willing to keep that money invested and keep driving my chevy s10 truck instead.

i can't stand paying for registration of vehicles. 65 dollars for a funky ugly sticker!!! every year just so the cops can have their christmas party. And now the stickers are big and gaudy. yuck!! I usually let someone in my family get mine.

Strawberry
house rent, I can afford but I really hate to pay for it.

Water and sex. Why pay for them when you can always get them somewhere else for free? And they are probably better tasting.

Many people can afford to pay ATM fees, but don't feel that hey should have to pay money to get their money.
