Trouble. Get on unemployment benefits, get rid of anything you don't need that costs you money (TV subscriptions etc), sell anything that can make you money, and get out hunting for a job again.
Foolproof strategy: 20% of your paycheque - put it in the bank and forget about it. Then when this happens, you'll have something to fall back on.
Good luck. |

Go to your nearest CAB as soon as possible. Temp if you can't find a permanent job. You need money coming in otherwise you're gonna sink. Good luck. |

I have just set my self up a debt management plan with CCCS they are a charity and dont charge for their time they will set up a payment plan and write to all your creditors informing them of this and arrange for all interest and fees to be stopped, even if you can only afforard £1 a week to each creditor that is what they will arrange for you to pay and they are a fantastic company, have a look on their website, also for better advice and support go to the moneysavingexpert.com if you enter the chat you will find lots of people in your situation and will get your self lots of good advice on what to do.
Good luck and dont let it get you down its only money xx |

The situation is that the person needs income and has no way of getting it. That person will need to go talk to the bill collectors and seek employment asap. |

Your question stands that person in a decision whether to be positive or negative in life.
Positive-be benevolent and humble enough to be free to all known gentle people for their good advice and shelter. In short surrender.
Negative-It is very hardsome to many.A dirty policy, wrong selection, smell the hell to recover from debts and lead the life in unsecured way.
Both the above situation turn someone in puzzling condition. Thanks for your realistic thoughts. |

You have got to get something organised.Get in touch with the people you owe , say you are in difficulty and will pay as soon as you can. In the meantime you will pay X a month to keep faith. You have either got to get a job, not knowing what you can do doesn't help,or you have got to cut your outgoings to the bone for a while. It depends on you, how determined you are and whether you are prepared to live a life of virtual poverty for a while. No smoking,no drinking,no meals out, stay at home or go for a walk in the park.Don't spend a penny you don't have to. Shop for the cheapest ,might not be the best, but you wont die.The situation is what you make it. |

It all depends on how much debt that you have and how long you are out of work. |

if u have a lot of debts then id go to citizens advice and they will help you and sort it out. Or....u can get in touch with the companies and tell them ur situuation and they may come to some sort of agreement as to paying back. If u ignore it then it will just get worse. |

Not good, as I am in the exact situation. No offence to the people that say jump on Centrelink, it's not that simple. I was recently made redundant from my full-time job and did some serious damage to my spine and neck on my 'summer' job as a shade sail installer. I've tried to claim centrelink, incapacity allowance, disability and newstart but they won't even look at me because my fiance' earns too much...600 a week with half going on rent, then loan repayments and home insurance...this was all before they even asked me if I had any children!!? That's enough to support both of us? What ever happened to support the system that supports you?? I tried to be honest and got nowhere, now we are up to our eyeballs in debt and yes we have sold everything we don't really need. I am limited in what I can do now for work and I have a new debt of $3,000 for medical and chiro bills I need to pay in order to get back into my line of work....To answer your question, nah it's not good. Maybe we can share a gutter when the government leaves us for the dogs.... |
