Washington, DC - I have a 3 bedroom apt w/ a wall of windows in each room.
This winter the electric bill has been running $300 and it as been a really mild winter...don't know what the deal is with that...I think Pepco is sticking it to me :(
In the summer months it is about $150.
By the by I have electric heat and A/C and each room has it's own unit it is an older build (late 70's build); however all the windows are new (last 5 years) and are suppose to be energy efficient. |

Gas heat (supposedly energy efficent furnance house was built in 1996)

I think our monthly electric bill is around 100 or less.... not sure...because I'm not the one that reads the bill. My mom does. I live in canada, which is not a state but the country above yours. |
