1. I say clip coupons all the time and buy sale items.

I once helped my family turn a $200 grocery bill into a $80 bill for scan and clipping coupons. trust me it is worth it.

2. Put all coins in a jar then cash them in.

3. Buy out off season clothes for cheap at places like plato's closet

4. research sales online

5.research the lowest gas prices in your area ( don't have to anymore)

Live reasonable to start out with. Shop at thrift stores, buy generic at the grocery store unless there are sales, simple things like that. Might not seem like much, but the money saved really adds up.

life long love
dont go to the store if you dont need anything.

Ensure that $2 is put aside in your bank account for every $10 your earned.

coupons, coupons, coupons!!!!!! I now save over 100 dollars in our grocery budget due to couponing!

Also, I only shop and buy those things I need that are on sale ...clothing, cleaning supplies, and groceries!
buy you a sunday paper every sunday and look for those bargains!

First of all, you shouldn't be saving money if you have any outstanding revolving unsecured debt(credit cards). Now is the perfect time to become debt free. Learn to live on the lamb and any future financial obstacles will be tamed with ease.

When you go to the store, only buy the things that you need. Make yourself a list of the absolute necessities, and when you are at the store, don't buy anything that's not on your list. Also, when you don't have to buy the more expensive brand. You can buy the generic brand on almost anything and it will have the same quality for a cheaper price.

I spend. Spending helps the economy get out of recession. Fear and not spending is what prolongs recession.

tashiaturner06
well for me i have several ways. when you get your check every month make a list of things you need that is important. when u get paid split your check in 3 ways. a certain amount for your savings, a certain amount for your bills and a certain amount for your pocket.
