I work at home as a consultant to travel companies. I write copy for travel web sites, brochures and pre-departure materials. I love to travel, so the work is interesting to me. Part of my pay is in "travel credits" which allows me to travel with my husband and kids to exotic locales.
You just need a computer, a phone, and a gift for writing and editing.

You can become a freelance market researcher. its a big market and once you have proved that you can deliver quality within specified time, you can have regular business and it pays well. Or if you have a computer at home, you could become a freelance transcriber. you just have to listen to recordings and put it down in word - documents. with quality and without missing out on information. its quiet interesting. |

From my point of view, firstly you should list out your skills and think of how your skills could benefit others. e.g if you love writing, you can visit site like elance.com or guru.com and become a ghostwriter, people would actually pay you a good money there.
Alternatively you can try to promote other people's product through clickbank.com and go to its marketplace, find the products that you desire and promote them from there, you simply need to send visitors to their website through the link provided (affiliate link) and you will earn certain percentage from the sales generated usually up to 80%. The best thing from it is that, it is 100% free or charge.
This might sound complicated but if you really put an effort into it, you can earn serious income from home and when you sleep...

Why dont you do one of them online bingo things. you just supervise what people are talking about in the chat rooms and then assist them if they need your help.
I dont know how you get into that tho. Go on the bingo sites like mirrorbingo and that one with sharon osbourne on and it will say career opportunities somewhere on it. |

daycare is a good idea... a lot of satellite and cable companies need people to work from home and answer their phone for customer service! Check into local companies to see if they need any at home helpers. You can even get insurance and free internet/cable through the company! Good Luck! |

Probably the most "normal" question I've seen here. I think the previous answers about daycare are a fair idea, and kudos for the great responses, but I suspect you have higher aspirations, and you really don't feel much like filling your house with a higher degree of snot and screaming any more than you're already dealing with.
Work toward procuring a web site concerning something with which you feel comfortable.
Perhaps offering information for stay-at-home moms, or cooking, or beating husbands for not giving you better ideas, and leaving you all alone to raise the babies he helped make. (I kid)

Initiating is the deal. You can create any type of website you wish very inexpensively, so contact your ISP and they will help you with it.
What do you love most? May as well enjoy it. What do you like? Spend some days to be sure, and just do the thing. You're full of helpful ideas, art, home-remedies, cat-poop cleaning up of......uh..... Write some children's guide books, and get their little fingers all over it. Make silly critters, and let them be involved.
Your kids will be a great assist in this, and why not give them something to do while you're at it? Unless of course they're like 4 months old, which could be a bit of a problem there.
Use your PC though. It is a fabulous tool, it doesn't cost much at all, and people are becoming horribly rich every day with them.
You just need the thing you want to do, get a website desiger, and it's a whole lot better than squishing out Pampers all day.
Be confident. Get some help initiating it, and in a very short period of time, you will be too busy and way too tired to rub his stinky feet when he gets home. Get him a luffah....get him a case of luffahs, and make him rub your stinky feet.
The WWW is a really big world because it IS THE WORLD, and trucking around submitting resumes is a rediculous way to get a job anymore.
I wish I could be more helpful, but I say "use your computer".

My wife and I never leave the house for work, and our kids are spoiled rotten.
