Do you have credit card debt? If so, get rid of it. You'll feel better if you do, which is worth more than a Wii and a camera combined. If you don't have any debt, then perhaps look into putting it away until something that you "just absolutely have to have" comes around because eventually it will and you'll be thankful that you saved your money. Otherwise, why spend money just because you have it? Don't get anything just to get rid of that money burning in your pocket. |

I always divide extra money 3 ways: I save 1/3, spend 1/3 on something I really want or need--or I'll stock up on toiletries, etc., and blow a 1/3; I put it in my wallet and spend it without thought till it's gone.
Enjoy your money! But always save a little of it. Always. |

If you don't know what to spend it on, save it for later when you really want something special. $300 is a small amount, but there is a small interest rate and it may grow some. Add to it and you will have a larger amount later for a bigger item. |
