30,160.00 at 14.50 hr all you have to do is take 30,000.00 divided by 52weeks =576.92 divided by 40 hr=14.42

excluding taxes and assuming you don't work weekends
$30,000 a year / 12 months a year = $2,500 a month
$2,500 a month / 20 working days a month* = $125 a day
$125 a day / 8 hour workday = $15.625 --> $15.63 an hour
* i calculated this by assuming 5 workdays a week and 4 weeks a month.
** i also haven't calculated holidays and vacations. |

(This assumes a 40hr work week over 50 weeks)
So 40K would be ~$20
