if you gave me 2 milliyon dallars I would spend them this way: 250. 000 dollars - house for my parents, 50 .000 dollars - flat for myself, 50,000 dollars - a flat for my brother, 50. 000 - flat for my little sister, 50.000 for cars, 250. 000 to my relatives, 300, 000 for products and other needs and one million for poor people. Now will you give me 2.000.000 dollars??? :))) |

Ok. Even though this is going to make me late for hockey, I figure I had to answer before the ballot closed on this one. The first million would go all to charity - probably to people down in New Orleans who still need so much or maybe the people in Kentucky who experienced the world EPA disaster ever in 2000 and it was barely on the news. (Thank you, Bob Edwards & NPR!)
The other million I would break down among family and friends. I would still pursue becoming a school teacher, I'd just live in a nicer house while doing it.
Probably the thing I would want to do most is give a fair amount to an ex-girlfriend - for no other reason than she thinks worldly in ways I've never seen in any other person I know. She has done two documentaries now - one on the holocaust and another on AIDS in Africa. I have no interest in getting back together with her, but I would want to give her 50K or so and just say "Do good work." and send her off to do what she loves - informing the world of causes and situations that the world needs to open its eyes to. |

well id say thank you and tell ya how greatfull i was...take ya out for a night on the town in chicago...then id go buy a house for my kids and i..little cramped here..i would make sure my whole family was set...then i would take some of that money and take a little trip to like Tenn. to find those kids that dont even have shoes or food and take em all shopping for things they could use id want to help in some sort of way....i have always said i would do something like that since i was little...id wana do alot of things just to make sure every1 is taking care of....thanks for the thought..now i have a million thoughts going through my head...why would you be giving 2 million dollars away? people dont do things like that...just wonderin |

Choose a reasonable lump sum to enjoy and live it up with, say 10%.
Then I would go to a decent financial advisers, have my risk attitude assessed and see what investments they would recommend.
Depending on my current income I may consider supplementing it with an income from your investment, hopefully without affecting my current tax situation. Or perhaps invest for growth for the medium to long term.
But that is what I would do, this is by no means a recommendation. |

I would begin by starting a non-profit patent organization to help inventors get a start without putting up large fees. I would than patent some of my own inventions, which include learning tools for children, and a new type of security system for taxi cabs. I would also build a new type of taxi cab, using gravimetric drive.
If I'm successful, I will use the profits from these and other inventions, to build Dads House. |

I would buy my own house, clear off any debt that I have, buy a nice family car, and set up a bank account for my children, so that they would have a good start in life for when they start University or College. I would keep on working as I enjoy it and it gets me out of the house!! |

I worked in the Municipality of Laktasi (B&H) and so I managed (with help of one friend) to employed about 30 disabled in factory .I never took some money for myself. I have permanent job in the Tax Management, as a higher expert for tax payers, but during the weekend I am going to visit the disabled, who I employed. With their salary, they can only,survive, but now, sometimes, I can see a smile on their faces.. I know about work of our doctors - specialist for plastic,
aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries but they need more equipments, so I want to bulit the medical center with the project which can be sustainable with medical tourism, that is my wish :-) |
