no questions asked.. I know what the very first thing i would do.. is I have three grown sons that are so very good to me and I am only 47... we arent well off or even middle class. but we all are very hard workers and family is so important.. I would split it four ways.. with them and my niece and are very close I would give her some... then... I would go to the mission downtown here and give them some to help the homeless.... and of course get me a car.. dont need a fancy one.. would love all of us to buy houses near each other too..... |

quit my job, pay off loans, bills, build my dream house, travel, invest in people, take care of my family, friends, city, and donate some to charity for kids, battered women, schools, and transients, start a business (start an old folk's home) to keep the money flowing, [you will be taxed on your income, you know that, right? So, a billion may only be .5 billion,] and live frugally for the rest of my life as a painter, writer, and retire at 40. |

After getting over the initial shork (because the doctors will have to revive me from fainting), I will visit a good and reputable bank, deposite the money there for some months before I could believe it is real. thereafter its investment galore!!! |

A Billion Dollars in cash is an amount that will yield secure returns from Government or other gilt edged securities to sustain the financial needs of some of the Institutions I am backing today. Therefore, I will invest the amount in a Portfolio of secure investments, and get along with life as usual. The Institutions which are now suffering from uncertainties for the food, clothing and study materials for the orphan and handicapped children and the Senior citizens without support will find their life a little easier. Sure enough , I will do nothing that will make me or anyone connected to me sitting idle and enjoying unearned income. |
