What would you do if you had $500 billion?

I would do this (in order)

-Clear off any debts
-Pay off my parents mortgage
-Keep $10 billion for myself
-Using the rest of the $490 b. I would give 90% of it to the poor and charities
-The rest I would...dunno really

With the 10 bill, I would
-Buy a SWEET lakeside mansion
-Buy a Ferrari, Porsche and Lambo
-Yeah...buy lots of expensive decorations

id buy a duck and feed it duck food

I wouldn't just toss it in the bank....It will lose it's value because of inflation.

Maybe some investing?

I'd be so happy to have 500 Billion.
I'd be the richest person alive (10 times richer than Bill Gates)
I'd buy a 100 million dollar mansion in 5 places around the globe. (in NY, California, London, Dubai, Tokyo). It's all gonna be topped with best equipments and decorations.
I'd also buy myself some exotic cars. The list:
Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini (all types), Bugatti Veyron, Maybach, Rolls Royce Phantom, Range Rover super charged.
I'd also go on shopping spree (buy all the clothes I want)
I'd also get the hottest girls to hang out with me.
I'd also get my own jet.
That would leave me with 499 billion dollar.

I'd buy a huge corporation and be the owner of it. You could buy Google with that much.

Wow.... so many things I could do with that.....

So this is PLAN A:

First, I'll spend about 100 bucks on makeup and a purple suit for a joker costume. (never gonna wear it though)

Then I'll buy Sony, And come up with an INSANE idea to crash microsoft and get the xbox 360 out of stores, and sell them the PS3.

I would come up with an another brilliant idea about making a PS4, and Sony will probably lose money but still, sounds cool...

Donate half of it to the poor and charities.

Give my whole family 5 Billion each, and if it is about the little kids, then They would get their 5 billion when they are 18.

Buy a nice mansion at the 10 most expensive areas in the world.

Buy a Lamborghini and a Limo.

More junk that I don't need but I think is cool.

PLAN B:

Yeah.. Money can do some insanely bad stuff to you..

And just so you know rich people are so busy with their job that they don't even care about anything and they don't have time to spend their money... If they would, they wouldn't be rich anymore cause it will all be spend again and again.... until they are dead O_o

I would first hire a VERY good accountant to handle the funds and set aside enough to be able to care for myself, my husband and our two labs (furry kids). Then, I would:

1. Invite top entrepreneurs to present their concepts in the form of a business plan and choose the top 10 and fund those startups.

2. Research current charities and invest in the top three.

3. Set/sustain a program to care for and place animals which have been displaced because of some sort of trauma (such as the guardian's death).

4. Setup an educational fund with strict guidelines which would have caveats, including graduating and mentoring another child.

5. Replace things in our home such as the water heater and refrigerator.

6. Find those moments when I could help a person whom I may not know, but know of his/her situation -- I'd be sure the money could not be traced back to me.

buy 3 homes 1 very fancy near where I now live and I in the city and a condo in the town I live in now. furnish them. Buy many cars, a truck, a van 2rv's a limo.

Hire help. A staff for each home and 6 chauffers.

Build a very fancy poool at the surburban home. make a garden there. have a large greenhouse. have it landscaped. Many kinds of trees, A pond. Ducks, attract all kinds of birds. have an aviary. Build a heated kennel for my dogs. Hire 4 caretakers for them. Get 6 dogs, in pairs, golden retriver, white labs and Irish setters. hire a caretaker for my malti. She stays whenever I am and get groomed every day. She is my companion.

Hire people to come to me and give me lessons. Art teacher, bridge teacher, Spanish teacher.

Hire 3 personal astrologers to make up my daily schedules and do synergy charts for everyone I am involved with in my life.

have a private beauty parlor.

hire musicians as I desire to have them.

Build a provate chapel with a church organ.

Buy a yacht, a private plane and a private railroad car.

Travel first class.
I am disabled. Get every kind of equipment I can use. several scooters of different sizes, a beach wheelchair. a heavy duty stair climber.

Hire a team of bodyguards and a personal trainer. Get some lifeguards for when I want to go swmming.

Have my clothes designed and made to order.

Have my shoes handmade.

Get a whole room of computers at each home.

All the best in tv's and other equipment and steros

build a playroom with a carasol. toy horses and dolls

Buy a racehorse.

Have a field with horses in the country.

Have a carriage.

Donate 5m to the art institute and go to all the opening nights.

Donate 5 m to a college near where I live

Establish a 50 m scholarship fund

Donate 50m for animal rescue

Build a room for my telescope and get the best money can buy.

Hire a cook and a cook's helper in each home.

Give 2 huge parties a year. One for Memorial day and I on Labor Day.

I would give no money to charities I do not believe in them. No money to any religious group. No money to churches,

A 5m check to a friend of mine for her to choose and donate an art object for the museum in her hometown where I lived for over 20 years. She has no need for money.

I would have many fountains and a carp pond with a small bridge.

Decorate all my homes lavishly for the holidays. Many ligjhts.

A spetacular game room and hire people to be available for board games.

Try many alternatives therapies for my arthirtis and other problems.

find several people from my past and do anything they want me to do give them or their children money or spend time with them

Get great camera equipment and have a team take me to all the national parks in the USA. tour Canada.

Have regular vet care for all my animals.

invest in art work at art fairs and craft fairs.

Build a home on 5 acres. Make it energy efficient. Have it totally accessible. Walk in tubs and showers. A fantastic kitchen with all white appliances. I do not like stainless steel.

Buy back the home i had to lose. Give it to someone I care about.

Run somewhere and hide. Make sure no one knew who I was or what I had.

Put most of it into developing new technologies, then patent those technologies. Buy an island, develop free broadband ad based internet, Travel the world, freeze my DNA. :P That's all I can think about off the top of my head. I'm sure I'd figure things out as I went along though.

pay off my parents debt and then buy them a new house then get one for my older brother and one for myself. than in a few years one for my little brother. nothing huge for any of us though just a normal cute house. it wouldn't be showey. also nice cars. the necesiteis. donate some of it and keep what will keep me from working for the rest of my life. lol.

I'd probably buy a couple houses, a personal luxury submarine, a personal jet, and who knows what else... I'd also hire several people to take care of all that stuff. I'd travel a lot too. Beyond that, who knows? Whatever I wanted at the moment.
