First, I don't gamble so it's a stretch for me to answer this. Secondly, I think 3 million pounds is roughly a little over 6 million Canadian dollars. I'd set it up so it would earn interest and the interest would go towards the establishment of several charitable organizations. I might buy myself a little cottage and a lovely little Austin - in remembrance of the British who awarded me the money. |

I'd give 2.5 to my mom as a way to say thank you and invest 300 000 in computers (probably Microsoft shares),
150 000 to buy a house in the country side, 50 000 spare ( probably for either pampering myself or a lawyer

First off get very very drunk then invest it.
I'd also buy my dads house for him, buy myself a house, give some to a charity I do some work for and go on a holiday.

I would put one million into my college fund. The I would probably spend half a million dollars on clothes and jewlry and purses, over the course of a couple years (not like splurging 75,000 dollars a day), then the other half a million, I would probably give to a charity of my choice. And the last million, I would use for things I wanted, i.e. basic stuff like a new laptop, phone, etc etc. |
