First, I would pay off my parents debts, they took such good care of me and my younger brother and sister, with collage and all, they deserve much more than what I can do for them now. Then I would use the rest to fix their house up and other repairs on the farm. Hope your having a great day !!

Pay off debt and buy a house, then invest the rest in retirement. It's boring, but I want to be able to have fun when I'm old too!

1st & foremost, pay off as much student loan debt as I can.

Fix my house and pool up, by a new car for myself and my 16-year-old son, by my mom a beautiful piece of jewelry for her 75th birthday, and take my kids and nieces shopping, get plastic surgery. (Their college tuitions are taken care of already!). Take a nice trip with just my mom and myself and spoil her rotten, take my kids on a nice trip and spoil them rotten... Give my son's boyfriend a new car (his is a junker and not dependable and he's a fabulous person and a hard worker and deserves a nice/safe car). So basically just have fun with it and take care of the basics!!! Oh... and spoil my 4 kitties, my dog and my parrot....

It would depend on my age, current job and career status.

If I was a student, not yet set in a career, and not yet sufficiently educated or degreed, I'd use the money for the best education I could get. This I believe would give me the skills and competitive edge for high paying jobs that, in the end, earn my well beyond the $100K figure in a short number of years.

If I was much older and at the tail end of my career, I'd invest the money in a manner to best advance retirement income.

Buy something important, and give 10% to others poor people.

Buy a houseboat, paddle out to international waters, anchor the boat and claim it as a new country, where I will gather pirate followers and make my way to power as a dictator, strengthen my army, invade a country or three, and eventually take over the universe.
Anyone who says I cannot do this - prove to me that I cannot. It's not like you've tried it?

Invest / save $20,000. Then use the other $80,000 to pay off as much debt as possible.

I'd invest it and over time use my earnings to go on vacations and to purchase other things that I wanted when the time arose.
