What would you do with 6 million dollars?
If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?

I'd probably give it to my mom she's the most deserving of it anyway....I would make sure that My sis and bro and my 3 little cousins are set up for life........Then I would give back to the community, a church......Oh I'd have to pay uncle sam.....by that time I should maybe have maybe $100,000 left to keep in the bank.

I'd spend $500K just to celebrate. Then I'd invest the rest in good mutual funds. That should make me plenty of interest to live off each year. The remainder would be left to my daughter upon my death.

Well, I'd still live within my current income, but I'd pay off my current mortgage so that more of my monthly income can go to fun money (which is currently not enough). Other than that I'd use the money to complete or get closer to my current financial goals:

1. Put $1,000,000 aside in cash to start a foundation with one day.

2. Spend $1,000,000 on 50% downpayments on 10 rental properties in my area (so buy $2,000,000 worth of property). The rents would easily cover such small mortgages, but I'd still get to leverage my investment somewhat.

3. Put $1,000,000 in my emergency account--the interest alone would almost fund all my unusual expenses in the next 3 years (dream wedding, new car perhaps, downpayment on new home, furniture for new home, dream vacation, etc).

4. Give each immediate family member $100,000 ($500,000 total).

5. Put the remaining $1.5MM in index funds for future business endeavors.
