i'd invest $50,000 of it into stocks. That leaves me with, $950,000. I would buy a home that would be about I'll say a small starter home at $150,000. So that now still leaves me rich with $800,000. So then, I guess I could put about $20,000 of it in a high interest paying checking or savings account. So then... I'm STILL rich at $780,000. Next... I would buy mine and my boyfriends' favorite car, a Ford GT Mustang of course a new version. We would I am sure put A LOT of money into that so by the time we're done with that project I will just give it an estimate of spending $70,000. On the car and then insurance each year is probably about $8,000. This leaves me with $702,000 to do what I would like with it. |

I'D BUY MYSELF A GREAT BIG MOTORBIKE. THEN I WOULD PUT INTO ACTION MY IDEA TO BUILD CERTAIN UNITS THAT WILL ONE DAY BE AS REGULAR AS THE CAR. IN TIME EVERY HOUSE WILL HAVE ONE OF THESE THINGS BUT I JUST NEED THE MONEY AND THE MARKETING SUPPORT TO GET THINGS ON THE GO. THIS TIME NEXT YEAR; I'LL BE A MILLIONAIRE |

It depends as a 1m dollars means your a millionaire in the US but still a long way short of being a millionaire in the UK as the dollar is still very weak against the pound.
I would rather 1m pounds as it would equate to a lot more than 1m dollars |

What would I spend? Every last penny!
What would I spend it on? Pay off bills, 1 Toyota Tundra & 2 Tacoma's, bigger house, new summer home, a new house for my mom & payoff her credit cards, pay off my sister's credit cards and take my whole family on a cruise, Save whatever is left. |

Take about 20% to make my escape and set up my new life, and invest the balance in a conservative portfolio that offered modest but steady returns. Then I'd live off them in a warm, user-friendly climate like somewhere in Southeast Asia. Probably Bangkok, Thailand - or down in the Andaman Gulf islands.
PS - and I'll take that in GB pounds thank you, Sterling of course. |
