OK, I finally got a job!! But @ the end of the first week, my acount is practically empty!! :O
I have a bit of a problem with saving money... wich I find is horible.
The worst part is that I need to be saving as much money as posible, to move out and be able to pay for university on my own!!
I work fulltime, get payed around 500$ ( a bit more )every two weeks.
What should my first steps be, keeping in mind that I am alredy pay phone bills, transportation, clothing, food, and may sometimes go to see a movie...????
Please if anyone has an sugestions, I would be more than happy to hear them...Thanks.

save up 2 pay checks and get them on a cd it will make u money and u wont be able to spend it. |

I'm about to start saving up to move out. I'm gonna take half my check and put it back for that cause. I don't have a lot of bills, so i can put back half. If you have a lot of bills, try putting back 25% or cutting back on your things you pay for. |

I mean how often do you shop for clothes? If you do it out of necessity, fine, but just stop doing it to be trendy. That's a start. The best way is just pay for what you NEED, and cut all else out. You can treat yourself to a movie or dinner out once in a while but cut it back to maybe once a month. Since we don't know what you are spending money on we can't really help you out in a specific way. But just follow NEED vs WANT. Get rid of the urge to buy "wants", and you will be okay. |
