There might be a small minority of jobs for which this makes sense, but by far for most the answer is a resounding NO!
Generally, a prospective employer has no business knowing this information. |

No way! They can't ask you about your financial information! |

No...if you're being asked to bring this information in, I'd say that someone is trying to screw you over...can you say "Identity Theft"? |

No that is your personal business not theirs. Remember to always speak positive. If they ask how was parking? Even if it was difficult finding a parking spot say it was great. Oh a big question asked is tell me something negative about yourself and remember. to turn that around by saying well I am a over achiever or something to that effect. Good luck. |

No I do not think so unless the rules have changed recently. Give the job centre a ring they will be able to tell you. |

Not unless the employer requests them. If they did, I'd ask why before I came. All employers want to know where you stand on that type thing before hiring the employee; there's a difference in GENERAL information and what you're referring to. What you're talking about, in my opinion, is WAY TOO NOSEY. |

Your finances are your business and no one elses. Whatever is on the Employment application is what you should be familiar with, Also some knowledge of what the company you wish will hire you does is quite important because it may show an interest that others may not have exhibited. |

Its is not likely that the interwiever would want to see your bank statements. |

If you are hired and you want direct deposit, you have to bring in a void check. Had to do it every time a job a new job. Best of luck |

it's been a while since i was on job seekers, i know that people who claim job seekers do need a bank account now, but i have not claimed dole money for many years so i don't know how the system works any more...i think you need to take them details so your money can be transferred into your bank...your best calling them to find out first..make sure you have all your ID with you, or they make you go back home and get it....good luck with your job hunt.,...id the job seekers interview at your local dole office or are you going for a job interview...if you are going to the dole then you need to take bank details and not statements...if your going for a job interview then no you don't unless they want to put your wages into the bank...all you need are your details IE: sort code and bank ref number, nothing else...not your statements... |
