If you call different places keep in mind that every time an institution checks your credit it will lower your credit score, if it is for a credit card, a car loan or a personal loan.
You could open a credit card with a $5,000 to $7,000 credit limit but your interest will be very high.
If it is for your business I would check with the local chamber of commerce to help you. They have some really good ideas for small businesses.
If it is an unsecured personal loan good luck. Since our economy is so troubled that would be very difficult right now especially if your credit is not perfect. I would find a way to put up some collateral to back your loan. House you own, car, car, boat, business etc.

When you apply be sure and spell it loan not lone, otherwise you won't have a chance. You could probably get one from a finance company but they charge really high interest. |

It depends on what you need it for. If it is a car loan, you can go to dealerships that carry in house financing. That should help. Good luck. |
