Hi and excellent question. One thought I can recommend is to look for that which is yours, but you may not be aware of. Specifically, unclaimed property. Common types of unclaimed property includes: bank accounts and safe deposit box contents; stocks, mutual funds, bonds, and dividends; uncashed checks and wages; insurance policies, CD's, trust funds; and utility deposits along with escrow accounts.
Believe it or not, there is a free government web site that can help you check to see. Might not find anything but it costs nothing and is worth a look. I provided the link below. Good luck! |
