wow, why does it cost so much to go to the beach? Don't you just kind of turn up?
On your question, you should first pick out the things that you 100% need/can't get out of:
1. Car insurance - you can't get out of this one, you need insurance
2. Groceries - you need to eat but try to cut down to the basics, try $40 instead of $50
3. Gas - is public transport cheaper? Especially given the parking costs
4. Parking - as above - would Public transport make this cheaper?
Ok the rest is all fun and games. Cut down your movies by half. Don't go to the beach and eat out once a week for $10
Now your total bill is around $140 instead of $277. Does that make it easier? |

Personally I would think getting a job would be the answer to all your problems. Perhaps if you can't figure out how to pay for all these things then maybe cut some of them out. |

Out of that list, I could save $165 right off the bat by cutting out the beach, dining out, and the movies. You'll need the gas for going to work, the groceries (you could save money here by buying store brands instead of name brands), insurance for the car, and parking when you get to work, but you can do without the others. |

IRS has Tax Free Qualified Transportation Fringe Benefits which gives employees a monthly allowance of $105 for transportation. It's mandated by the law and tax-free so you need not worry that it will be shaved off your pay. Just go to your nearest IRS office to know more about this program.
and they also have tips for saving gas. And when you save on gas money, you will have an extra money for your other needs. |
