Ask your bank!! Most will depend on your credit history on what kind of intrest rate you will get..

Now that all depends on your credit history, rating, and job (income). It also depends on what you are buying, the amount you are borrowing, and the collateral you are putting up.

SO, in short, do not patronize any place that says "Payday Loans" or "Quick Cash" or "Car Title Loans".

Deal with straight up banks and lending institutions.

Besides Mom?

Try the bank that you have your accounts with.

Right now prime rate is really low and you can (with decent credit) borrow money relatively inexpensively.

Banks are more likely to lend to people with good credit histories, account relationships (you have your checking and savings accounts with them), and you have a stable income with a low debt to income ratio.

The better the credit score..the better the rate you can get.

Good luck!

(if you have bad credit/no credit you can still borrow...but your choice of lenders and options for rates is more limited)

I'd strongly advise against any kind of loan that doesn't involve a long term mortgage or some such thing. Seriously, I can't recommend you back away from the loan applications enough.

Look at it like this. If you have spare cash and can afford to pay back a loan, you can also afford to save for whatever it is you want and get it with your own money when the time comes. If you want the loan because you don't have any cash, how are you planning on paying it back, especially in the long term where you really can't predict what your financial circumstance will be...

Highly unlikely unless you own a home without a mortgage. Then you might get a home equity loan at the lowest interest possible.

pomegranatepants
try using your local bank. or another place where you already have an established account. the fees and interest will depend on the type of loan, the amount you're taking out, the terms for payback, and most of all your credit score. try lendingtree.com

Probably a credit union but any bank will base your interest rate on your credit history.
