I want to earn some money on the weekends or through major holidays(christmas, easter, summer) but i'm only 15. Therefore the law forbids me from getting an a "proper job". I'm open to any suggestions as i really want to earn some money in my spare time??? (I've done paper rounds already) |

You are not forbidden in England from working, though you may not work from 11pm-6am, and must not work full time hours.
Many local shops and family concerns would be willing to give you a job if you ask, though you are not protected by minimum wage, so they can pay you as little as they like.
Try somewhere like a greengrocers or a farm shop. The one I worked in always employed a schoolgirl/boy. |

Its not illegal to work at the age of 15. Trust i know, I have held a job since i was 15. The only thing you will need is a working perment.(which your high school counselor should be able to provide.you with that). You can work only so many hours per day and also so many hours per week. But little money is better than no money. |

i think you can work at 15 but only during certain hours of the day (not too early or late)

Dog walking or baby sitting for relatives/family friends can earn you some money.
You could also offer to go around peoples houses to water there plants or feed there animals when they go on holiday.
or brag it out of your parents!! :D |

i had they same problem when i was 15 ....... and by the way selling weed is a bad idea. u make tons of money then get house arrest.... but anyway find a small shop or something and see if they will hire you and pay you under the table.
if you know someone that does contracting see if they will let you help them out. im 16 now and idid that over the summer and made 2 grand helping my cousins exboyfriend build ****. you can make alot of money and learn alot of skills that will really help you when you get older |
