I am sure those who have all of the three use the, but I want to know which one do you use most of, (or in order of most use). I have all three, but mostly never carry cash, so for me it’s:
1st choice = Credit
2nd choice = Cash

i always use my credit card, then transfer the money immediately to pay for it. i use checks to pay my bills.i almost never have cash. |

Same order for me. If I can put something on a credit card, I do it. I always pay it off every month. But I find it's easier to track my expenses and set a budget when I use credit cards. I use cash only when it's more convenient, like in a bar, or for a small restaurant check.
As for checks, I don't write any on a regular basis any longer. All my utilities, mortgage, and other bills are direct debit or go on my credit card. Tis a wonderfully convenient world we live in! :) |

Credit card first because you only have to write one check at the end of the month. Besides the credit card accumulates a cash reward that is "FREE MONEY" provided you pay off entire balance each month.Also use a card that has no annual fee. The whole idea is to use somebody else's money the same as the banks do to you when paying a very skimpy interest rate.
Cash is next for small purchases that you wouldn't write a check or use a card for

Credit for everything and anything, bills, milk, gas, lunch. WHY? I get a statement each month that shows me EXACTLY where my money is going.
I carry small amounts of cash for ice cream.
Checks?...I have the same checks the bank ordered for me in 2002.
