for me as foreigner it´s hard enough to understand english-indian people. but i have huge problems with pure indian accents.
RBS (Natwest) lists all individual bracnhes on bt.com & their website with their individual telephone no.s and not a 0845 number. How rare is that? Its great getting an actual person on the phone instead of an automated voice, or worse.......

Alliance and Leicester' they're in Leicester and Liverpool, but even then, they don't have 'thick' regional accents.

Nationwide have their call centre in England, but they are a Building Society, not a bank.

First Direct have a call centre in Yorkshire. They answer the phone within 20 secs and are always very helpful and solve your issues.
In my opinion they offer the best customer service.

Definitely, Nat West because they refused to follow the others. By the way, if your bank has a foreign call centre, don't give your bank details out as there has been fraud committed by some staff who ask users for their details!
