I have received an e-mail (4th August) from lagstebanknl@aim.com claiming I have won £1,000,000.00 (Euros) - having checked with Euro Millions, you obviously need to buy a ticket and they would not ask the winner for any transfer monies etc., you would just receive a cheque direct |

Most domains have an abuse email address for just such a purpose...in this case, just forward that email to abuse@aim.com. |

Go to www.cclub.editboard.com and post your complaint in the companies page. It wont make a difference now, but if many other like you post their message and we have a good number, its bound to get noticed. There are many socities to prevent scamming, google it and see. |

Go into your mail, go to help and then go down to mail abuse... you send yahoo the bad email and they will get back to you right away.... it's good to do this... They do catch these people.... |

U can go straight to yahoo messenger and there is a messenger name added in the field where all of ur frnds are. Click there and ask them questions. Other block the scam email by clicking as SPAM |

If you have received a phishing email asking you to verify and/or provide information regarding your Yahoo! account, please forward the email to mail-spoof@cc.
This also applies to your scamming email. |

Just delete it. There's nothing that Yahoo can or will do about it.
You could forward it to abuse@yahoo.com if it makes you feel better and if the response e-mail is on yahoo.com. If the response e-mail is on some other domain, forward it to abuse@ that domain. But don't expect much of anything to come of it. By the time the abuse department gets to your message, the address will have been abandoned anyway. It only takes a few minutes to set another one up and it's impossible for Yahoo or anyone else to track this scum.
Don't waste your time sending it to the abuse department of the supposed sender's address. That's ALWAYS spoofed. Your e-mail had a sender of aim.com but it's a certainty that it did NOT originate there! Spoofing the From: address on an e-mail is childs play as there is no checking of this information by the mail system, nor is it possible to do so.
Personally, when I get one of those, I flood the response mailbox with thousands of replies from dozens of throw-away e-mail addresses that I have control over. Sometimes I tell them to F-off and sometimes I forward other spam to them. Basically this helps to hide the few responses from hapless rubes that do respond to the spam thinking it to be legitimate. |

Do not bother, I tried sending to scam report international but nothing was done, all you need to do is label the address as spam to avoid getting similar mail. |
