The Banking Ombudsman or The Financial Services Authority in the UK that is.
If you are getting fobbed off on the phone by your bank, write a letter of complaint to the Senior Branch Manager. They are obliged to reply within 5 working days and to resolve your problem withing 6 weeks.
Go on, go for it. Give them HELL!! |

Go to www.bbc.co.uk/workinglunch, basically if its about their service you need the financial ombudsman.... if its about how they are hanling your money in terms of interest rates or releasing money you need the Banking Code Standards Board... i dont know their contact numbers... but they are who you need to speak to, they wont ask for any bank details just your name, address and what they need to investigate. |

In the first instance you should write (never deal with banks on the phone as they have muppets working for them) to the head office, detailing your complaint. Try writing to the person who is the manager of the person you are complaining about. If that fails, banks should have their own complaints procedure. Failing that, try the banking ombudsman. Good luck! |

Try making an appontment with the Manager first to see if he/she can sort out the problems...if you do not suceed then the let them know that you will write to the local paper for advice...this may work...good luck |

Well, you are telling me: "I want to complain".
First, to tell the truth, you don't have to go anywhere else but to the bank itself... I would like to know who did you complain when you went to the bank but since I don't know then my suggestion is that you always look for a manager of the bank.... some bank branches like Laredo National Bank have a main branch... try going always to the main branch of the bank and speak with a person in high position... |

Hiya, I used to work in a bank so what I would do it contact the banks customers care department, write a letter to them is best, also send copies to the head of department/branch in question. keep copies of the letters and if you have no joy then send a covering letter along with the original to the finacial services ombudsman. |
