Just get one. I don't think a personal account even needs anything but your name and address to accept money.
If you're paranoid (like I am), open a new bank account to associate with paypal, or you can just have paypal mail you a check for a $2 fee or so. Either way, you can avoid being put in a situation where they go monkeynuts if they think you're on the wrong side of a payment dispute.
PP *is* a poor payment broker (a TERRIBLE appeals process for locked accounts), but it's your only choice. It's all that other people use. |

Just open a paypal acct what's the big deal? It takes ten minutes. You need a major credit card or your checking acct number, not both. |
