It's a great, convienient transfer point to move your money where you need it to go.
From a bank, you can convert it to online payment, cash, checks.
and sometimes they pay you interest, but if your not diligent they will murder you with fees. |

In my own case, I was robbed of my life savings, which I had in cash, in my back pocket, I was moving to Florida, stayed in a motel a few nights, Breaking and entering, assault with deadly weapon, stayed in the hospital all night waiting to be sutured up, had 72 cents and $5,000 in bills I could not pay, not to mention the loss of the money, and no where to live ! If not a bank, a brokerage account, something, don't leave it around the house Hun ! I'm still in court about the medical bills, not to mention damage to my credit when I could not pay the medical bills!
2 years later, back in court on the medical bills again. I could have been killed if I had put up a better fight for the gun before I got hit over the head with it ! |

There are governmental programs to ensure your cash's safety (to a certain extent, anyway) so it's much safer than keeping in your house. |

So that I can use my bank card instead of counting out cash... and so my paycheck is direct deposited so I don't ever have to worry about running out every week to get it cashed or ever think about it. Plus, I just go online to my bank and see how much money I have without having to count out thousands of dollars like a terd every week or month. |
