Because alot of stress in our lives is caused by not being able to pay off debts/mortgage or not being able to afford to do the things we want to do such as go on holiday or buy something nice. If we have money it solves these problems. |

It makes me happy because I live on a minimum wage and I have bills and debts to pay. I can't afford to go to the cinema or for a meal out, because it's a never ending circle, money in and money out on essential living and bills. I would be very happy to get shut of my debt, and be able to go out on the town. The last time I went in a pub for a drink was in the summer. |

people who say money isnt everything are usually rich or scruffy, in my opinion. without money you would die, somehow. the more you have the more you spend, everything is relative, i have had none, and then have had lots then lost it all again, money is good. oh ducks arnt crap if you hang them on your wall in three`s |

money and shopping does not make you happy long therm, though. It is just a quick fix, which does not last long.
Things like learning a language, or voluntary work bring longer lasting happiness. |
