If you're looking for a scientific reason opposed to "No one knows" (really? Come on.):
Technically, aging is a genetic condition which results from your cell's inability to divide (and essentially renew) over a long period of time. This condition, called organismal senescence, is found in almost all living organisms. Many modern geneticists believe, like other genetic conditions, it is treatable. Pretty wild stuff.
I've read it does not occur in sharks, for example, making them essentially immortal. |

google adn you'll learn there are millions of people in the world above 100 yrs. and its proven that with good diet,excercise and relaxation longevity can be acheived.
most people do not make to 100 because of factors like genes, environmental factors, diet etc. |

life is compartmentalized in multiples of 8; if you look at it holistically, you have look at life and see in which "8" are you right now. first 8 is for being a kid; 2nd and 3rd 8 is for you to learn, get a job and settle yourself; 4th "8" is to be ready to face this world independently and marry, get into a parental mode; 5th "8" is to see places and make money, 6th "8" is to show and guide your siblings and bring them up, 7th "8" is to retire and get over your family commitments like children marriage et al and living life after your 8th "8" you will become a burden to others is what is stated in a simple and beautiful way; if you look at it, this seems to be very true;
