You can get what's known as a "simple" account at the Post Office and most banks. That'll take wages, has no overdraft facility but you can withdraw from cash machines. No debit card facilities though.

where do you live? I will asume the u.k and recommend Halifax. They offer very good services and are completely trusted but they will take in bad credit history people
