im sure there are plenty of nice people out there, however this is absolute BS. A nice holiday in the lake district or Normandy would cost you 500 absolute maximum, its wrong to ask for more than that just so you can go to the bahamas or dubai or whatever. Or you might even not go on holiday and spend it on whores and drugs. Dont donate to this guy people. |

Now if you said you wanted money for a child's heart operation, or a child was starving then maybe someone would, but what sort of holiday are you wanting for £3000??? a Caribbean cruise.........I am sure you can manage some sort of holiday in this Country....it doesn't take much.....buy a tent or hire a caravan which you can do for less than £300....so as they say in the Dragons Den, No, I won't be investing. |

If you are making any money at all ... you can save... if you downsize your living.....People always ask.... what can I do to start saving money...It what you can stop doing..... think about where ever penny is going...... you can take your kids on a holiday and teach them about money... just start thinking....Good Luck!! |

I have an excellent heart, but a handout without return doesn't make financial sense. I do have a suggestion for you though...there are websites like Prosper (do a google search) that allow people who have money to lend to people who request money. Understand, "lend" and "handout" are two totally different things...but if "lend" is what you're really looking for, then the Prosper website or one like it is probably your best bet. hi i think 3 grand for a holiday is alot of money especially considering there is only 2 of u. last year me and my husband and my son got a late deal on a holiday to turkey for 7 nights self catering including flights and transfers from thomas cook and that cost us £500. we didnt even need as much spending money as we took, wee took £500 quid for spends and we went on plenty of days out had full breakfasts every morning and ate out every night. we came back with about £100 so i think you are setting you sights to high. why dont you get a travel card from the post office and put some money on that each week and its like a travelers cheque style thing for your spends. thomas cook do low deposit holidays £50 for a family and then pay of each week on that bit by bit. youll find once you have booked it you want to pay it otherwise ull loose ur deposit. we r on a low income and we manage to go on holidays by doin this. if this doesnt sound like you the u could look for late deals. |
