Hi ,thats about average actually for your age group, if you wanted more money unfortunately you would have to work longer hours, you could try other places and see but I think you are doing ok!!!

Yeh thats really good considering the min wage for a 17 year old is 340 so at other jobs you would only get £54

animemadness
£4.68 an hour? yea thats very good and you only work 16 hours wow awsome when you turn 18 the pay will automatically rise but for now as a 17yr old thats rather good pay!

My sister when she was 17 got £3.60 an hour i think now shes 18 and gets about the same as you get (for an 18 yr old that sucks!) When your 18 try to make sure you get a job for £5+ an hour i wouldn't settle for much less unless you were really in need of the money don't quit your job thats good pay. Unless you want more hours

That's not too bad for your age, minimum wage, but i'm sure if you really wanted to you could find a job that paid abit more.
If you are enjoying the job you are at i would stay there as your money will go up the longer you have been there and it is soo hard to find a job that you enjoy.Money is part of life but not everything.

I don't think that good. that under 5 dollar an hour. Minimum wage is like 6.25 check for Ur state. I would look for a job a better job.

Suki Boo
I think that is the minimum wage for under 18 is'nt it, not sure as living in Ireland now but £4.68 per hour is not a bad start is it. You can check minimum wage on the website below.
