Having a lot of money in the bank provides a certain freedom from worry that may be just as comforting as, if not more so, a swank automobile. |

I would much rather have a lot of money and no luxury. If you have all luxury and no money, then you're probably in debt or close to it. Expensive cars are good to show off, but they're not really necessary and most get lousy gas mileage. I don't care what people think of me and my social status, financial security is much more important because you never know what kind of crisis you may have in the future and how much it's going to cost you. Also, it's nice to be able to afford good gifts for your family and friends on birthdays and holidays & stuff. |

There is a place in the middle, you just have to be creative.
Learn to be your own purchasing agent, you'd be surprised how much of what we buy is mark up.
Also don't get into spending more than you make, you will end up in trouble real quick.
If you have to work OT to have something, forget about it, cause after a while you won't own things, things will own you.
Lastly, forget about impressing others, and worry about impressing yourself, have the nice things, and have some chedda in the bank too. |

I would rather have both.
You could have chosen to buy a second hand car or a cheaper model and keep some money in the bank.
A home is never a bad investment. In fact in a lot of cases it appreciates in value quicker than money sitting in a bank account so this is ok.
Luxury could be being able to take a month off work and not have to worry about money. It could be going on holidays and not having to budget.
Moderation is the key... you can have what you want but maybe it doesn't have to be the top of the range or most expensive option. Then you can also keep some money in the bank.
If you are going to spend money, try to spend on things that appreciate in value rather than depreciate. |

I'd rather have money, because cars lose a lot of value within the first couple of years. Plus if you're in one accident it's all worth nothing... don't expect insurance to actually pay out.
A house is a great investment to make, I would personally rather get a mortgage at a good rate and have no money left in the bank, because I know it will probably gain $20,000 in value within the next year. |

Well, if I had lots of money or dollars as you put it, I would like to go for accomplishing the tasks that I have been dreaming of doing them. First, I would establish an orphanage for street children and yet another such place or house for the degraed, homeless and tortured women. That would be the best thing in my life to do which I still hope that I will eventually be able to do.
Secondly, I would buy me a big car and a bunglaw also. My parents have done a lot for us and now it is my duty and wish to add to what they have done or made.
Thirdly, or should I say I would put it on the top of the list, I would get my father's leg operated once again so that the steel road could be taken out and he would be able to walk properly and in fact run as he used to do until 1995.
I would spend money on music, and learning lots of things. I would like to live a luxurious life but in quite a different way. It would not be jsut to show off. But to make some sense too.
I would at the same time like to keep some money in my bank account for future use because time never stays the same. Mind it! |

I would rather have a lot of money and not live in Luxury. But everything needs to balance. Save your money and buy a BIG thing and then save your money for a while and buy another BIG thing... ect. Just make sure you don't buy too big a thing and then have no money left. |

Would rather have the money in the bank. What does a flashy car get me? Impress people at a stop light I will never see again? If people judge me by what I drive then I could care less about them. ( BTW I drive a 2001 Silverado with 130k miles ). I have met a guy who is worth several hundred million dollars but drives an old truck and wears worn blue jeans. Nicest guy in the world and if you do not know who he is you would think he is just a man of moderate means. Too many people think you have to live a certain lifestyle because of what they see on TV. Wake up, if you have a house to live in and a car that gets you from here to there and back again, food on the table you are doing great. |
