i do on somethings like bogof or 2 for a pound , but things like toilet roll , washing up liquid etc , its not worth buying the cheap brands as they don't last and you end up using more , i try to be careful , . i would love to win a trolley dash , that would be cool my first stop would be the booze aisle lol!! |

I will shop around online before I buy a bigger or more expensive item - camera, tv, even sometimes DVDs or whatever. But, if you mean driving around to different stores to find the best price? No, I don't do that. Gas is too expensive these days so you end up paying in gas what you saved on the item. Depending on the item, I'll sometimes call a few stores to find out their price.
I think it's worthwhile, again depending on the item. (For groceries, buying the no name brands can add up to a big savings.) |

I shop for deals, but do include transportation cost into the item cost. I also include tax (differant counties in my state have differant sales tax).
In general I know the best places to buy foods my family eats, car repairs, childrens clothing, etc. Finding the best places for items you spend money on all of the times does add up. |

First off, if you are shopping you re actually wasting money lol. But I would say yes if you re doing lots and lots of shopping, where you can actually see how the pennies add up from shopping at different places. Im not sure what items you might be talking about, but there are lots of places where you can actually talk your way into getting a better price, instead of actually driving around and comparing prices. Thats what I do, that way you dont waste lots of time and gas driving around town, |

it depends on how much I'm saving. The time to hunt for bargains, and the costs of transportation can make the bargain hunting not worth it in the end. you'd actually end up spending more money in the looking than what you would save. |

no, because my time is more valuable than a couple pennies. Plus stores compete with eachother - and basic economics say that I will overall pay the same everywhere.
Or just go shop at Wal-Mart, they are pretty much the cheapest on everything. |

I got £30.00 off my new fridge freezer last week and i always get money off my grocery shopping .. the best bit is this site is free and it is better in my pocket than the retailers |
