Not in a million years, i would if i was a multi-millionare.
There is great watches for the fraction of the price.
Its only a watch, after a while you will grow tire of it and wont know what to do with it.
I paid $700 for a wrist bracelate and i only wore it about 10 times, now it just sits there.
It looked alot nicer on the shelf!
Spend your money wisely, there is a ton of things you can buy with $2000 and still have some change, why spend it on one.
Its not like it will make you any better... |

hell no...a watch that cost 2000 dollars does the same thing that i watch that cost 40 dollars..plus, that's too much money just for a watch...i would save that money to travel around the world or going back to my country... |

nope...I'd invest in real estate and buy a $20.00 so I could tell what time the post man was bring me my rent checks from the real estate I own. |

if 25,000 was my discretionary income and the watch is something i greatly value or like. Sure i would. |

No, I would limit my watch purchase to $500 and then spend the rest on other things or invest or save it. That's my personal way of doing things though.
I would feel scared to lose a watch worth $2,000. |

If I ever take an exploding bullet to the head the first thing I would do after getting out of the hospital is buy a watch for almost 10 percent of my annual income. To see if you REALLY want it save up 40 bucks a week in a separate account and after a year you still can't live without it then do it.
You only live once. Plus, good watches last a lifetime. I wouldn't, but I'm not you. Yes, there are wiser things you could do with the money. But what's better than having something you truly love owning? Try the saving thing. Like I said if you still want it after that then treat yourself to something special. Have you got the time? |

No, I would buy a watch for $30 and put the other $1,970 into a good growth stock mutual fund.
If you leave that money in the mutual fund for 30 years and never add another penny to it, the mutual fund will be worth $70,820.
I doubt that watch will be worth that in 30 years.

Not a chance. Expensive watches are the ultimate unnecessary trinket. A $40 watch keeps just as good time. If I had extra money I would either invest it or buy something that actually improved the quality of my life. |

NO!!! Who do you need to impress? Stick the money (with annual equal contributions) in a savings account or IRA over 20, 30 or 40 years and you can pay cash for a home. |
